First Sign: La luz (light)
At 8 months, Rafael makes the sign for "la luz" (light).
He initiates it to show me what he sees!
In this video he is pointing to the light with his right hand and signing with his left.

At the Punkin' Patch
We went with new friends to the G&M Farm in Livermore. They had all sorts of fun things for kids of all ages.
We got a big, round, orange pumpkin for our kitchen!

We've been attending Gymboree since he was about 4 months. Now at 7.5 months he's more interactive with everything.

Lucy, is he "leaning"?
Rafa has discovered a way to stand "mommy hands-free". When he drops his ball or toy, he feels his way to a squat to grab it, and then stands again. He can't get enough of his new balancing act!
